PLACE OF LB was founded upon the belief that each event – whether a multi-day wedding spectacular or intimate dining experience – is an opportunity to tell a story and cultivate enduring memories.

Launched in 2020 by director Laice Bollen, Place of LB offers its discerning clientele custom event planning, styling and management services for life’s most celebratory milestones.

No two relationships are the same; each is, in its own way, inimitable, extraordinary – a story unto itself.

This philosophy shapes LB’s practice from conception to execution, crafting authentic, bespoke experiences that speak to the unique people she works with and leave indelible emotional imprints.

Forging and nurturing connections lies at the centre of LB’s approach. Clients come to feel like friends, and her network of premium vendors are masters of their respective craft. Each event becomes imbued with the personal; an alchemy of authenticity, intimacy, and always something a little bit different.

Drawing inspiration from the realms of art, fashion, design and hospitality, LB is at the vanguard of wedding and event style, channelling her rich creative perspective into one-of-a-kind events. Luxury is in the details, and she works together with her clients to bring their aesthetic and emotional vision (and more) to life.

Despite its success to date Place of Lb remains a proudly boutique service, taking on a limited number of weddings and events each year. By paring back, LB is able to fully immerse herself in the day and guide her clients through each decision with care and attention.

  • Founder and director of Place of LB, Laice Bollen (LB) is a full-service wedding and event producer. From 250-person nuptials to 10-person brand launches, LB’s eye for finer details and genuine rapport with each of her clients makes her one of the industry’s most sought-after talents.

    After obtaining her diploma in visual merchandising, LB spent a decade carving a name for herself in the fashion and event industries. Quickly enamoured with the creative elements of the craft, it was during this tenure she honed her logistical management, production and vendor liaison skills, as well as refining her nuanced appreciation for the emotional impact of space and scale.

    Through concepting, planning, designing and executing her own wedding in 2018 (covered by Vogue Australia) LB experienced a convergence of multiple passions. Seizing upon COVID’s forced recalibration in early 2020, LB took the plunge and - in the midst of a global pandemic - officially launched LB Styling-now called Place of LB
